About me
Born in Germany as a son of an immigrant Turkish couple I was raised bilingually, speaking Turkish and German, both perfectly. Between 2001 and 2003 I studied and worked in Barcelona. I worked as an official court interpreter at the Supreme Court of Barcelona. I moved to Istanbul in 2006. Since then, I have been working as a freelance translator for various customers all over Europe.
Qualifications
Native tongues German and Turkish. Perfect command of English and Spanish. Dipl. (FH) Übersetzer f. Englisch und Spanisch (Licensed translator) obtained at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne/Germany and at the University of Vic/Barcelona-Spain. Besides, during my time in Barcelona I had the opportunity to learn some Catalan. This gives me the chance to work with many companies and agencies in Germany, Spain and Turkey and other countries.
Education
After realizing a vocational training as a 'commercial assistant with languages "English and Spanish" I studied at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne "Translation and Interpreting-English and Spanish" which enabled me to study a year at the University of Vic/Barcelona in Spain.
